Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an AR Auditor to manage multiple daily reports, credit qualification of customers, and billing accuracy. The role provides collection and admin support to the AR Team in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities include reviewing credit criteria, communicating with customers for billing instructions, and evaluating credit worthiness using payment trends and reports. Strong MS Office skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years experience in Billing, Collections or Customer Service.
• Proficiency in Direct Bill & Freight Payment collections for proper understanding of Customer billing requirements.
• Strong analytical and time management skills.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review daily shipments that do not meet approved credit criteria and identify accounts that need to be linked to valid accounts. Update shipments and the customer masterfile to prevent recurrence of issues.
• Distribute the Driver Collect report to the team upon audit completion.
• Make arrangements for customers who do not meet credit criteria to pay in advance of shipment completion.
• Advise the AR Representative of any Bad Credit shipments needing attention.
• Contact customers for proper billing instructions and shipment terms verification.
• Evaluate credit worthiness of new and existing accounts by reviewing payment trends, credit reports, references, and internet sources. Update credit info in the masterfile and document notes.
• Communicate with the appropriate Partner Carrier when a billing discrepancy exists on an interline shipment.
• Follow up as needed to resolve discrepancies prior to finalization.
• Update the customer masterfile as it relates to loading of billto accounts per information from Sales, Pricing, Customers and AR representatives.
• Work with AR and Billing Leadership to set up customer-specific audits when needed.
• Scan pertinent billing information into AR files.
• Monitor incoming correspondence from internal and external customers, directing to the appropriate AR team member when needed.
• Interact with multiple internal teams to research and resolve Customer issues.
• Assist AR Leadership with reporting, projects and process improvement initiatives.
