Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Freight Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of our service center, ensuring efficient delivery to customers and strict adherence to cost controls. You will mentor staff and guide personnel to improve performance in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, strategic staffing, and adherence to safety regulations while supporting a company-wide incentive program and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

4 years of related work experience.
Supervisory or management experience.
Experience in the less-than-truckload (LTL) industry.
Experience with hazardous materials regulations, OSHA and Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

Handle the efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery service provided to our customers.
Guide the complete daily operations of the service center.
Oversee revenue, profit and cost controls.
Ensure proper staffing, utilization and management of personnel.
Mentor and manage all personnel working at the facility.
