Job summary

XPO is seeking a Freight Operations Supervisor to lead all aspects of our freight operations in a fast-paced environment. You will develop and implement procedures to meet evolving department demands and supervise hourly staff across multiple operations.

You will evaluate workloads, plan schedules, and ensure compliance with FMCSR, OSHA, DOT, and safety policies while coaching employees to achieve productivity targets. This role emphasizes leadership and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in logistics/warehouse roles.
• Knowledge of LTL, hazmat regulations, and DOT rules.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations.
• Develop and implement procedures to meet department needs.
• Evaluate workloads and supervise hourly staff.
• Coordinate schedule planning to meet daily goals and control costs.
• Enforce FMCSR, OSHA, DOT policies and safety rules.
• Coach employees and conduct new hire evaluations.
• Support safety and engagement initiatives and meetings.
• Direct a team to meet productivity targets.
