Job summary

XPO Freight Operations Manager position in the United States is a leadership role overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service center. You will guide the delivery service efficiency, manage staffing and controls over revenue and costs, and mentor the facility team to achieve performance targets.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of related experience, supervisory background, and strong knowledge of LTL operations and hazmat/OSHA/DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related work experience
• Supervisory or management experience
• Experience in the less-than-truckload (LTL) industry
• Experience with hazardous materials regulations, OSHA and Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations

Responsibilities

• Handle the efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery service provided to our customers
• Guide the complete daily operations of the service center
• Oversee revenue, profit and cost controls
• Ensure proper staffing, utilization and management of personnel
• Mentor and manage all personnel working at the facility
