Job summary

Roadrunner is seeking an Operations Assistant to help maintain speed, accuracy, and reliability of day-to-day terminal operations at our Nashville facility. You will own load visibility, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure systems reflect ground truth to keep shipments moving on schedule.

The role requires strong communication, basic computer skills, and a willingness to handle documentation, scheduling, and exceptions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; equivalent experience considered.
• 1–3 months of relevant administrative or operations experience preferred.
• Foundational math skills and comfort with weights, distances, and monetary values.

Responsibilities

• Drive load visibility and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to keep shipments on track.
• Track outbound loads, update systems timely, and communicate delays before 11 AM.
• Manage driver documentation, including IC paperwork and compliance materials.
• Manifest freight and maintain accurate operational records across systems.
• Schedule deliveries, coordinate redeliveries, and process ACR authorizations.
