Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Shoreview, MN, to manage freight tracking, scheduling, and documentation. You will interact with customers and carriers via phone and email and generate Excel reports to support delivery operations.

The role requires a HS diploma, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. It is a direct-hire, in-office position with a 8am–5pm schedule and a pay range of $50k–$55k per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic freight forwarding/logistics with a Customer Service based role preferred.
• HS Diploma required, secondary education preferred.
• Experience working in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, fast learner with a can do attitude.
• Ability to work well under stress in a fast paced team environment.
• Geographical knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track and trace domestic freight shipments and loads in the system.
• Set delivery, pickup, and reschedule dates/times.
• Gather and document accurate information for pickups/deliveries.
• Collaborate with vendors, agents, and carriers to provide services.
• Complete paperwork; ensure manifests and orders are documented.
• Create customer-specific reports in Excel.
• Enter shipments for dispatch, route, track orders, and troubleshoot issues.
• Enter orders and provide price quotes.
• Communicate with customers/carriers via calls (40-70/day) and shared email.
