Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Shoreview, MN. The role focuses on tracking and coordinating domestic freight, setting delivery calendars, and maintaining accurate shipment documentation.

The candidate will handle vendor communications and provide Excel reports while maintaining strong customer service standards. Day-to-day work includes order entry, dispatch entry, tracking, and resolving shipment issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic freight forwarding/logistics or a customer service role is preferred.
• High School Diploma required; further education preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills are required.
• Self-motivated, fast learner with a can-do attitude; able to work under stress in a fast-paced team.
• Geographical knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track and trace domestic freight shipments and loads in the system.
• Set delivery, pickup, and reschedule dates and times.
• Gather and document accurate information for shipments.
• Coordinate with vendors, agents, and carriers for required services.
• Complete paperwork and document manifests and orders.
• Prepare customer-specific reports in Excel.
• Enter shipments for dispatch, route shipments, track orders, and troubleshoot issues.
• Handle order entry and price quoting.
• Communicate with customers/carriers via phone (40-70 calls/day) and a shared email inbox.
