Job summary

OEC Group, a leading freight forwarder, seeks a driven Sales Account Executive (Logistics Consultant) to manage full sales cycles and act as a trusted advisor for client forwarding needs. You will prospect, qualify, and close opportunities while presenting Ocean and Air services and coordinating with internal teams.

The role involves building a local book of business, meeting monthly revenue quotas, and traveling to meet clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of freight forwarding experience.
• Experience selling ocean and/or air services preferred.
• Experience using CargoWise One ERP preferred.
• Entrepreneurial spirit; team player; problem solver.
• High emotional intelligence and communication skills.
• Professional email and phone etiquette.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Seek out new clients and establish a book of business through prospecting and networking.
• Present OEC Group’s service offers: Ocean/Import-Export, Air Import/Export, Distribution & Warehousing, Trucking.
• Meet monthly revenue quotas set by Sales management.
• Collaborate with CRM Specialists to create sales presence in the local market.
• Maintain communication with internal teams and overseas offices.
• Travel locally for client meetings and presentations.
