Job summary

Forge is seeking a hands-on leader to build and scale our freight forwarding operations in New York. You will set up trade lanes, develop long-term relationships with ocean carriers, warehouses, and agents, and help grow the business in close partnership with the founders and engineering team.

As a key member reporting to the CEO and working alongside the CTO, you will wear multiple hats in a fast-paced startup and translate prototypes into durable production software while shaping our product

Qualifications

• Hands-on role building freight forwarding operations.
• Experience in establishing trade lanes and partner networks.
• Ability to work with founders and engineers on product direction.

Responsibilities

• Continuously setup and optimize trade lanes
• Develop long term relationships with freight partners
• Manage the buy-side of the freight business
• Partner with the CTO to turn prototypes into production software
• Report directly to the CEO
• Wear many hats in an early-stage company
