Job summary

Forge is seeking a hands-on Operations professional to own customer relationships and manage logistics end to end. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, partnering with founders and engineers to drive the products we build.

You will own a book of freight and customs brokerage clients, grow accounts across brokerage, forwarding, and duty drawback, and collaborate with CTO to turn prototypes into production software. We will teach you if you lack logistics experience.

Qualifications

• You DO NOT need to have experience in the logistics industry, we will teach you.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day client operations: bookings, entries, documents, exceptions, billing.
• Coordinate carriers, truckers, warehouses, and agents to keep freight moving.
• Run point when things break: delays, exams, holds, angry phone calls.
• Become the trusted contact for supply chain leaders and expand what they do with us.
• Prototype automation for anything you do more than twice, then ship it as real software with the CTO.
• Wear many hats. Early‑stage means we all do a bit of everything.

You’ll partner directly with our founders and engineers to drive the products we build.

• Have experience in logistics
• Speak another language fluently
• Are a licensed customs broker (LCB)
