Job summary

CS Recruiting is assisting a seed-stage freight technology company in New York City with a Founding Account Executive opening. You will own the full sales cycle, from discovery to close, and generate most of your pipeline through outbound channels.

Responsibility includes tailoring product demonstrations for freight forwarders and leading negotiations through to signature, while collaborating with SDR teams and transitioning accounts after close.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of B2B SaaS sales experience.
• At least 12 months as SDR/BDR selling into mid-market accounts.
• Demonstrated top-quartile performance against pipeline or quota goals.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to signed contract.
• Generate pipeline through email, LinkedIn, phone, and events.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand freight ops, challenges, budget, and timelines.
• Lead product demos for freight forwarders and their workflows.
• Manage negotiations, security reviews, procurement, and contracts.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and CRM activity.
