Job summary

Kintetsu World Express in Chandler, AZ is seeking a proactive account manager to collaborate with global offices on assigned accounts, develop new business and participate in RFQs.

You will conduct research to identify prospects, establish relationships with potential customers, and keep CRM records up to date while coordinating with overseas offices. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally and a monthly car allowance are part of the package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in freight forwarding and 3+ years living in Arizona.
• Must be able to work/report to the Chandler, AZ office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other offices on assigned accounts and develop new accounts.
• Research, analyze and identify business prospects through cold calling and web research.
• Establish and cultivate business relationships with new customers and maintain current ones.
• Review costs versus selling rates and build profitable relationships with accounts.
• Document all sales activity in the CRM software.
• Communicate effectively with employees, overseas offices, and agents regarding targets and accounts.
• Participate in RFQ processes and collaborate with other offices to complete RFQ.
• Weekly review calls with managers on current activities and issues for accounts.
• Monitor accounts receivable with accounting staff to ensure timely collection.
• Travel by car and air (domestic and international) may be required.
