Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) in Geismar, LA, is seeking a dispatcher to execute daily freight plans and coordinate movement within the assigned area. You will manage driver schedules, receive orders, and provide frontline customer service to existing accounts.

Additionally, you will monitor emails and portals, solicit freight, and collaborate with teammates on loads and incident reporting. On-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent conflict resolution and skills.
• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs and timing of deliveries.
• Manage daily delivery schedule for drivers.
• Plan deliveries to inventory-managed retail gas outlets.
• Receive orders from suppliers, gas station dealers, and renewable fuels distributors.
• Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts.
• Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
• Monitor e-mail for incoming orders, inventory updates, and communication between team members.
• Monitor web portals for station inventories.
• Solicit freight from customers.
• Create loads in dispatch system.
• Divide dispatch responsibilities with other team members.
• Enter incidents into KITS (incident reporting system).
• On‑call duties as needed.
