Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs and timing of deliveries
• Manage daily delivery schedule for drivers
• Plan deliveries to inventory-managed retail outlets
• Receive orders from suppliers and distributors
• Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts
• Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously
• Monitor e-mail for orders and inventory updates
• Monitor station inventories and web portals
• Solicit freight from customers
• Create loads in dispatch system
• Divide dispatch responsibilities with team members
• Enter incidents into the incident reporting system
