Job summary

Aqua Gulf Xpress, LLC in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Customer Service Representative to manage accounts, grow relationships, solicit and accept loads, and ensure on-time freight delivery. The CSR will coordinate with Planning and Business Partner Managers, maintain accurate records, and support customer port activities to minimize charges while meeting performance

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Business Administration or Logistics Management or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of customer facing experience.
• Minimum 3 years of Customer Service experience in Transportation.
• Knowledge of the Transportation industry and Department of Transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Proactively exceed customer expectations for communication and service.
• Communicate with each assigned customer at least once per week.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Realize annual customer commitments by working with Planning and Business Partner Managers.
• Anticipate and identify problems and find solutions.
• Accept and solicit orders by phone, email, websites, and other electronic transmissions.
• Document account and load specific information in the operating system for assigned customers and locations.
• Check orders, location codes, and customer profiles for data accuracy and update details to exceed customer expectations.
• Update customer portals and approve all charges in TruckMate.
• Monitor customer container days in and out of ports to prevent storage and demerge charges.
• Exceed metrics, leads, and lag measures in all areas including service, phone etiquette, and solicitation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
