Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines, a family-founded carrier in the United States, seeks a Customer Service Representative 1 to handle hundreds of inbound inquiries from external and internal customers. You will organize and schedule shipments, transfer details to our internal system, and communicate solutions.

The role requires strong written and verbal communication, the ability to research policies, prepare quotes, and handle simple billing queries.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience (in-person or phone).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: 2 years of customer service experience and prior transportation industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle hundreds of incoming customer service inquiries from external and internal customers.
• Organize and schedule shipments, transfer information to internal systems, and distribute revenue based on contracts.
• Provide accurate quotes and build estimates for shipments, respond to billing inquiries, and perform FBCs as needed.
• Educate customers on company technology and self-service options, and maintain organized records.
