Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking a Customer Service Representative I in Lexington, SC to handle inbound inquiries, schedule shipments, and transfer information to our internal system. Responsibilities include providing quotes, addressing billing questions, and educating customers on our technology and online resources.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred candidates will have 2 years of customer service experience, either face to face or over the phone, and experience in the transportation industry.

Responsibilities

• Handle hundreds of inbound customer inquiries by phone and email.
• Organize and schedule shipments; transfer information to internal systems.
• Prepare quotes and estimates for potential shipments.
• Answer billing inquiries and perform Freight Bill Corrections (FBCs).
• Educate customers on the company’s technology and online tools.
• Maintain organized records, paperwork, and administrative tasks for Sales.
• Monitor website, email, and voicemail for service opportunities.
