Job summary

Amhof Trucking Inc, a leading asset-based carrier in eastern Iowa, is seeking a motivated Freight Broker to handle overflow freight and grow our brokerage team.

You will prospect shipper customers, secure opportunities beyond our asset capacity, negotiate rates, and quote quickly using TMS tools such as DAT and Truckstop, while keeping shipments moving with proactive updates to customers.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of transportation or logistics experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with McLeod TMS is a plus.
• Familiarity with Samsara is a plus.
• Strong negotiation, multitasking, and communication skills required.
