Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a customer service and shipping clerk to handle high-volume phone calls, billing inquiries, and OS&D paperwork. You will verify bills of lading, assist with freight movements, and coordinate delivery times with customers in a fast-paced service center.

The ideal candidate has a GED or high school diploma, solid clerical skills, experience with MS Word/Excel, AS400 a plus, and a strong customer-service mindset. This role requires lifting up to 20 lbs and teamwork.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Experience in billing, collections, tracing & OS&D preferred.
• Computer skills; proficient in MS Word and Excel required.
• AS400 experience strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good clerical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Must be able to lift approximately 20 lbs.

Mansioni

• Answer telephones with a heavy call volume and direct calls accurately.
• Maintain count lists of items received or shipped and verify against bill of lading.
• Prepare paperwork and repack OS&D freight.
• Maintain records and report OS&D issues to management.
• Coordinate delivery times with customers for freight deliveries.
• Prepare bills for freight movement with tariffs and charges.
• Assist with dispatch phones and support customers and drivers.
