Job summary

U.S. Bank in Chicago is seeking a Freight Auditor to validate and process audit exceptions, review freight bills against contracted rates, and support billing accuracy. You will document exception reasons and act as the intermediary to resolve disputes between clients and carriers.

The role also involves completing reports, providing administrative support, and delivering strong customer service in a hybrid work environment with in-office days required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of customer service experience.
• Experience in transportation/freight billing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review audit exception transactions to determine the reason for the exception.
• Document the exception reason.
• Resolve the Audit Exception directly based on client guidelines or with client and carrier for resolution.
