Flexport is seeking a Manager, Freight Audit Services to build and run a client-facing freight audit program. You will oversee onboarding, audits, and disputes, while shaping processes and collaborating with Product and Engineering to implement AI-assisted data extraction and workflow improvements.

You will hire and develop a team, ensure accuracy, and drive profitability with a focus on delivering measurable client value and scalable service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations, logistics, or financial operations.
• Ability to reconcile data in spreadsheets and investigate discrepancies.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Launch the service and establish procedures, quality checks, and ownership paths.
• Lead client onboarding: gather contracts, invoices, and data, confirm scope.
• Run daily audit delivery, compare invoices to rates and records, investigate discrepancies.
• Manage disputes and corrections, track evidence, and identify client value.
• Be the main operational contact for clients, explain findings and lead service reviews.
• Hire, train, and develop the team as demand grows and workloads change.
• Work with Product and Engineering to define requirements and test AI-assisted workflows.
• Support Sales with discovery, scoping, and pricing input.
• Track onboarding time, audit turnaround, accuracy, and profitability to drive improvements.
