Job summary

Five Star Trucking is seeking an Account Manager to own a portfolio of shipper accounts, grow revenue, and deliver results in a family-run freight brokerage environment. You will manage quotes to delivery, onboarding, and ongoing account growth while leveraging pricing tools and cross-team collaboration.

You will lead business reviews, track load counts, revenue, and margins, and ensure service levels remain high by coordinating with Track and Trace and Carrier Sales.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing or account management role.
• Transportation, freight brokerage, or logistics experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Full Truckload (FTL) operations and the domestic truckload market.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, and comfort with revenue and margin numbers.
• A self-starter who can juggle competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Bonus points: experience with Highway, freight pricing tools, or Salesforce, and familiarity with the EOS framework.

Responsibilities

• Own the relationships for a portfolio of shipper accounts from quote to final delivery.
• Grow each account by expanding freight under management using pricing tools and identifying new lanes and opportunities.
• Lead business reviews; monitor load count, revenue, and margin Trends.
• Onboard new customers and turn them into long-term accounts.
• Coordinate shipment lifecycle with Track and Trace and Carrier Sales to maintain service levels.
