Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Fraud Strategy Lead to shape the future of fraud defenses for banking products. You will drive high-impact initiatives across ACH, wire transfers, and other money movements while balancing risk with customer experience.

The role collaborates with engineering, product, and operations, and requires strong quantitative skills and hands-on SQL/Python/R experience. In-person 3 days/week in NY, Menlo Park, or DC.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in fraud strategy with strong fraud detection & prevention for banking products (checking/savings)
• Strong quantitative skills and a problem-solving mindset; able to work with large datasets
• Hands-on experience with SQL, R, or Python (Pandas, scikit-learn)
• Excellent communication skills to distill complex insights for varied audiences
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering/IS/Analytics/Math/Physics/Applied Sciences or related field

Responsibilities

• Design and lead initiatives that reduce fraud across banking ecosystem using data and insights
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and engineering to build robust fraud defenses
• Monitor real-time fraud activity and maintain feedback loop to improve detection capabilities
• Own strategy and execution of fraud mitigation for ACH, wire transfers, and other money movements
• Communicate strategic decisions clearly with senior stakeholders across the business
