Job summary

Commas is seeking a Fraud & Payments Risk Manager in Miami to oversee daily operations of fraud prevention, payments risk, chargebacks, and trust & safety. You will lead investigations, coach analysts, and partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to strengthen controls while enabling growth.

The role requires deep domain expertise, strong analytical ability, and hands-on leadership to protect the business from financial loss and ensure customer trust.

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years in Fraud, Payments Risk, Merchant Risk, or related field.
• Experience leading a team or mentoring others and setting priorities.
• Strong understanding of payment ecosystems including card processing, ACH, BNPL, and fraud prevention.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day fraud and payments risk operations and analytics.
• Coach analysts in real-time and manage investigations, escalations, and risk decisions.
• Develop and maintain scalable fraud controls, risk policies, and escalation procedures.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to balance growth and risk.
