Job summary

Rippling is seeking a Fraud Strategy & Analytics Manager to safeguard the financial integrity of our customers. You will develop and enhance fraud detection and risk mitigation strategies across our payroll, bill pay, and corporate card products, using large-scale data and analytics.

You will collaborate with data science, security, compliance, product, and engineering to implement scalable solutions. You will lead monitoring, investigations, and model development, balancing fraud prevention

Qualifications

• 5+ years in fraud prevention and detection, esp. payments, lending, SaaS
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's preferred
• Strong SQL & Python skills with ability to write complex queries and generate reports
• Data-driven with solid understanding of payments risks and fraud indicators
• Experience with fraud detection tools and third-party risk vendors
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to diverse stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Develop and own fraud prevention strategies across Rippling’s financial products.
• Design, implement, and optimize fraud monitoring and decisioning using large-scale data.
• Build dashboards and KPIs to monitor fraud losses, detection rates, and false positives.
• Lead investigations to uncover patterns, root causes, and controls gaps.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering to enhance detection models and risk scoring.
• Partner with Product, Security, Compliance, and Customer Support to embed risk controls.
• Monitor high-risk transactions and coordinate timely escalations and resolutions.
• Drive continuous improvement in fraud risk management via post-incident reviews.
