CGS Federal is seeking a skilled Auditor to provide general auditing and accounting services in support of fraud investigations involving complex financial transactions and organizations attempting to evade detection.

The ideal candidate will develop, coordinate, and draft technical audit guidelines, and be proficient across various accounting systems. Collaboration and cross-functional communication are emphasized to support investigations and government innovation.

Qualifications

• Four-year undergraduate degree or higher in statistical/data analysis, finance, accounting, fraud examination, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional work experience in finance, accounting, fraud examination or statistical/data analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain adjudication for the requisite background investigation.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and audit a variety of accounting systems.
• Present a large volume of data (bank records, financial records, healthcare claims, etc.) using common software.
• Assist with investigation planning, including quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify witnesses and documents.
• Prepare concise reports, charts, summaries, and schedules.
• Coordinate conferences and interviews with financial institutions, CPAs, and witnesses.
• Utilize electronic databases to identify assets and evidence.
• Evaluate an entity’s ability to pay penalties based on assets and liabilities.
