CGS Federal is seeking an experienced Auditor to provide general auditing and accounting services in support of fraud investigations involving complex transactions. The role emphasizes drafting audit guidelines, cross-functional communication, and proficiency with multiple accounting systems.

The candidate will analyze large data sets, prepare detailed reports, and coordinate with financial institutions and witnesses during investigations.

Qualifications

• Four-year undergraduate degree or higher in statistical/data analysis, finance, accounting, fraud examination, or other related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional work experience in finance, accounting, fraud examination or statistical/data analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain adjudication for the requisite background investigation.
• Experience with STARS and/or Business Objects is a plus.
• Experience with federal or state legal or law enforcement entities is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and audit a variety of accounting systems.
• Prepare concise reports and charts from analyses.
• Assist with investigations and identify potential witnesses and relevant documents.
• Conduct interviews with financial institutions and witnesses.
• Utilize databases to locate assets and documents.
• Assess ability to pay penalties from financial disclosures.
• Develop and issue draft technical audit guidelines for financial audits.
• Prepare interim and final reports during investigations.
• Organize and index voluminous documentary evidence.
• Support compilation of documents and evidences for motions and trials.
• Meet with federal and state agency personnel as needed.
• Perform other related duties within scope.
