CGS Federal is seeking an Auditor to provide general auditing and accounting services in support of fraud investigations involving complex financial transactions. The role requires developing audit guidelines, coordinating with diverse teams, and communicating across investigations.

The successful candidate will have strong data analysis skills, proficiency with accounting systems, and experience supporting investigations with comprehensive reports and evidentiary materials.

Qualifications

• Four-year undergraduate degree or higher in statistical/data analysis, finance, accounting, fraud examination, or other related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional work experience in finance, accounting, fraud examination or statistical/data analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain adjudication for the requisite background investigation.
• Experience with medical records and billing procedures (preferred).
• Experience with federal or state legal or law enforcement entities.

Responsabilités

• Audit and analyze a variety of accounting systems.
• Organize and present large data sets using standard software.
• Plan investigations and identify relevant witnesses and documents.
• Prepare concise reports with charts, summaries and schedules.
• Conduct conferences and interviews with financial institutions and witnesses.
• Use electronic databases to locate assets and evidence.
• Assess ability to pay penalties from disclosures and asset reviews.
• Draft technical audit guidelines for financial audits and investigations.
• Prepare interim and final reports for staff use.
• Coordinate secure storage and indexing of voluminous evidence.
• Assist with documents and visuals for motions and trial.
• Meet with federal, state and local agency personnel as needed.
• Other related duties within scope.
