CGS Federal is seeking an Auditor to provide general auditing and accounting services in support of fraud investigations involving complex transactions and organizations attempting to evade detection. The role includes developing guidelines, coordinating investigations, and drafting reports for use in hearings and trials.

The candidate will work with diverse teams, perform data analyses, and present findings.

Qualifications

• Four-year undergraduate degree or higher in statistical/data analysis, finance, accounting, fraud examination, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional work experience in finance, accounting, fraud examination or data analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain adjudication for the requisite background investigation.
• Experience with medical records review and medical billing procedures (preferred).
• Experience with federal or state legal or law enforcement entities (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Audit a variety of accounting systems and organize large data volumes.
• Prepare concise reports with charts, summaries and schedules.
• Assist with investigations and identify relevant financial documents.
• Conduct interviews with financial institutions and witnesses.
• Utilize electronic databases to identify assets and evidence.
• Develop and issue draft technical audit guidelines for financial audits.
• Meet with federal/state officials as needed during investigations.
• Coordinate storage and indexing of voluminous documentary evidence.
• Create charts/graphs and audiovisual materials for motions or trial.
