CGS Federal is seeking a highly skilled Auditor to conduct general auditing and accounting services in support of fraud investigations involving complex transactions and organizations attempting to evade detection. The ideal candidate develops and drafts technical audit guidelines and communicates across investigations.

Qualifications

• Four-year undergraduate degree or higher in statistical/data analysis, finance, accounting, fraud examination, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional work experience in finance, accounting, fraud examination or data analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• US citizenship and ability to obtain background investigation.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and audit a variety of accounting systems.
• Organize and present large volumes of data (bank records, financial records, healthcare claims, tax records, etc.).
• Assist with investigations by performing quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify witnesses and documents.
• Prepare concise reports of analysis results with charts and schedules as needed.
• Coordinate interviews with financial institutions, CPAs, and other witnesses.
• Utilize databases to identify assets and evidence.
• Assess ability to pay penalties based on financial disclosures and investigations.
• Support investigations with draft guidelines and interim/final reports.
• Arrange secure storage, indexing of documentary evidence.
• Meet with federal/state personnel as needed.
