Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a Fraud & Disputes Intern to analyze card and ACH disputes, collaborating with fraud and customer disputes teams to resolve cases efficiently. You will leverage data insights and AI tooling to identify patterns, make recommendations, and help customers on a case-by-case basis.

The internship is paid, with standard hours Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm Central Time, offering valuable exposure in a fast-growing fintech environment and potential for career advancement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Investigate disputed credit card, debit card, and ACH transactions and resolve within timeframes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with fraud and disputes teams on cases.
• Analyze individual transactions using internal policies and review methodologies.
• Understand systems and tools; analyze account patterns via data.
• Work with analysts, data scientists and engineers to improve loss prevention processes.
• Learn and maintain knowledge of fraud prevention technologies.
