Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Chargeback Operations Intern to tackle card, debit, and ACH disputes in a fast-paced fintech setting. You will collaborate with fraud, disputes, and engineering teams, applying internal policies to resolve cases within SLAs while gaining valuable hands-on experience.

This paid internship runs Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm Central Time. Ideal candidates show data-analysis chops, strong attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing data and making decisions in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong business judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to self-start and work with minimal supervision after training.

Responsibilities

• Investigate disputed card, debit, and ACH transactions and resolve within allowed timeframes.
• Work with fraud and disputes teams to determine next steps per case basis.
• Investigate transactions using internal policies to identify patterns or trends.
• Understand systems and tools; analyze account patterns through data.
• Collaborate with analysts, operations, data scientists and engineers to improve loss-prevention processes.
• Learn and maintain knowledge of fraud prevention technologies.
• Maintain or exceed SLAs for timely resolution of cases to minimize losses.
• Handle escalations professionally from stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience with Claude or equivalent AI tools; leverage AI to boost productivity and communication.
