Job summary

Sezzle in Mexico is seeking a Fraud & Disputes Intern who will analyze and respond to disputes on card and ACH transactions, working closely with fraud/risk and disputes teams to determine the best actions. You will identify patterns, learn our tools, and help improve processes.

The role is a paid internship with a Mon-Fri 9:00 am–5:30 pm Central Time schedule, offering growth opportunities and hands-on experience in fintech risk management.

Qualifications

• Experience in data analysis and ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Sharp attention to detail with multitasking capability.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Solid business judgment and clear communication.
• Ability to self-start and work with minimal supervision after training.
• Experience with Claude or similar large language models is required.

Responsibilities

• Investigate disputed credit/debit card and ACH transactions and resolve within SLAs.
• Work cross-functionally with fraud and disputes teams on cases.
• Analyze transactions to identify patterns using internal policies.
• Understand systems and tools; analyze account patterns.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists and engineers to improve loss prevention.
• Learn and maintain domain knowledge of fraud prevention techniques.
• Maintain or exceed SLAs for timely resolution of queued cases.
• Handle escalations professionally with stakeholders.
• Leverage Claude or similar LLM tools to boost productivity.
