Sunflower Bank N.A. is seeking an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of a full-time Fraud Analytics & Loss Prevention Assistant Manager.

This role leads day-to-day fraud prevention operations, backs up the Fraud Analytics and Loss Prevention Manager, and oversees investigations, case management, and staff development. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent banking/fraud experience) and at least 5 years in fraud, financial crimes, or risk management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent banking/fraud experience may be considered.
• Minimum 5 years in fraud, financial crimes, loss prevention, or risk management, with leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of common fraud schemes affecting financial institutions.
• Experience in investigations and responding to active fraud events.
• Working knowledge of BSA/AML requirements and related reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fraud investigations, alerts, referrals, and incidents with timely resolution and proper documentation.
• Prioritize team workload based on risk, impact, and recovery opportunities.
• Review complex cases and provide investigative guidance as escalation point.
• Coordinate response efforts, analyze trends, and suggest controls to mitigate risk.
• Lead, coach, and develop staff; support performance management.
