Job summary

Sapphire Recruitment is partnering with a growing quick-service restaurant franchise to hire a Franchise Operations Support Manager in Central New York. The role is field-based, supporting franchise locations and working directly with franchisees and store leaders to improve operations, profitability, and brand standards.

The ideal candidate has multi-unit restaurant or franchise operations experience, strong coaching and communication skills, and a proven ability to drive measurable

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-unit restaurant or franchise operations.
• Ability to coach franchisees and store leaders.
• Knowledge of restaurant P&L, food costs, and labor costs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide field support to an assigned group of franchise locations with regular onsite visits (2x monthly per location).
• Evaluate food quality, safety, cleanliness, speed of service, customer experience, and brand compliance.
• Develop action plans with franchisees and ensure follow-through on improvements.
• Coach franchisees and store managers on operations, staffing, food prep, portion control, customer service, and profitability.
• Conduct monthly business reviews focused on sales, labor, food costs and KPIs.
• Monitor weekly sales, financial reporting, customer feedback, and online reviews.
• Identify underperforming locations and implement targeted improvement plans.
• Communicate corporate initiatives, promotions, menus, policies, and standards.
• Support onboarding of new franchisees, store openings, training, and manager development.
• Maintain documentation of site visits, plans, follow-ups, and communications.
• Escalate significant performance, compliance, or operational concerns.
• Support renewals, ad programs, and brand execution.
