McDonald's Information Technology department is seeking an entry-level Restaurant Technology Support to assist with technology across our restaurant locations. The role provides hands-on training with no prior IT experience required and includes on-the-job guidance and documentation duties.

The position involves travel between locations for troubleshooting and installations, with mileage reimbursed per company policy.

Qualifications

• No IT degree, certification, or prior IT experience required.
• Interest in technology and a desire to learn.
• Dependability, clear communication, and ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to travel between restaurant locations; valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness to perform routine hands-on equipment tasks safely in a restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot POS registers, kitchen video systems, printers, scanners, PEDs, controllers, and peripherals.
• Respond to issues in drive-thru, front counter, kitchen, customer areas, and offices.
• Identify problems clearly and escalate when advanced support is needed.
• Assist with installing, labeling, testing, and replacing approved hardware and devices.
• Learn basic network troubleshooting, cable management, and equipment checks.
• Travel to assigned restaurants for repairs, installs, and upgrades and document activity.
