Job summary

Michaels in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Store Lead to coach a framing team and drive custom framing sales. You will develop selling skills, plan workloads with the Store Manager, and ensure customer needs are met with creative framing solutions.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time.
• Achieve KPIs and manage the framing team to achieve their KPIs.
• Review sales and production workload and plan sales floor time.
• Manage and execute inventory management processes as assigned.
• Manage shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching and training of new Team members; participate in Performance Mgmt. activities.
• Partner with MODs on framing expectations.
• Interact respectfully with others and model company values.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking processes.
• Follow SOPs and ensure a safe environment.
• Acknowledge customers and provide solutions.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
