Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Lead Framer at our Charlotte location. You will lead and coach a team of framers to deliver high quality custom framing solutions and foster strong customer relationships, while driving sales and meeting KPIs.

You’ll assist with hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management, and serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) to ensure store operations run smoothly. Weekend and night shifts may be required in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers to build customer relationships while creating framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating framing solutions.
• Manage inventory, shrink and safety programs, and SOP adherence.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and participate in hiring, coaching and performance management.
