Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Retail Custom Framing Manager in Eden Prairie, MN. Lead a team of framers focused on building customer relationships while delivering high quality custom framing solutions.

You will drive framing sales, coach staff, and partner with the Store Manager to implement SOPs and store programs. Responsibilities include planning workloads, achieving KPIs, managing inventory and safety programs, and supporting onboarding and performance development.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers to build customer relationships and craft framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating framing plans.
• Support Store Manager in SOP adherence, policy execution, and store condition oversight.
• Manage workload, inventory, safety programs, and KPI achievement for the framing team.
• Participate in interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and performance development of team members.
