Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Leader in Newton, MA to lead and coach a team of framers, driving custom framing solutions and sales while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You will plan workload with the Store Manager, help achieve store KPIs, and participate in talent development activities. The role requires strong leadership, retail management experience, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings in a public retail environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers to build customer relationships while creating framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions.
• Manage workload and staffing in partnership with the Store Manager to deliver high-quality framing on time.
• Achieve KPIs and guide the framing team to meet role KPIs.
• Participate in interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of team members.
