Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Manager-Level candidate for our DC-Alexandria/Potomac Yard location to lead a framing team. You will drive custom framing sales, support store leadership, and ensure outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will coach a team, plan workload with the Store Manager, and uphold SOPs and safety standards while delivering high-quality framing solutions to customers.

Qualifications

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and standards.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time by planning workload with the Store Manager.
• Achieve KPI targets and manage the framing team to reach their KPIs.
• Review sales and production workload and build plans and floor time.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory processes and shrink/safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members; participate in performance mgmt activities.
• Collaborate with MODs on framing expectations and daily operations.
• Interact with customers in a respectful manner and promote the organization's vision and values.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
