Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Lead in Sterling, VA to guide a framing team in delivering high‑quality custom framing solutions, building strong customer relationships, and driving sales. You will partner with the Store Manager to plan workloads, supervise inventory, and ensure adherence to SOPs and company standards.

The role requires leadership experience in retail, focus on customer service, and the ability to manage a team in a fast‑paced store environment, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills are required.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing SOPs and company programs.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time.
• Achieve KPI’s and guide framing team to meet role KPIs.
• Review workload, plan sales floor time, and manage inventory processes.
