Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in Sterling to lead and coach a framing team, drive custom framing sales, and deliver exceptional customer experiences in a busy retail setting.

You will oversee SOP adherence, train team members, manage daily framing operations, and ensure KPI achievement while maintaining safe, organized store conditions. Weekend/evening shifts and Manager on Duty responsibilities are involved.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time.
• Achieve KPIs and manage the framing team.
• Review sales and production workload and plan staffing.
• Manage inventory and shrink/safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members.
• Support talent development and performance management activities.
• Promote a positive store environment and effective customer service.
