Job summary

Michaels in the United States is seeking a framing team lead to guide a group of framers, build strong customer relationships, and deliver high-quality framing solutions.

You will drive custom framing sales, coach selling behaviors, and partner with the Store Manager to ensure SOP compliance and efficient operations.

This role involves planning workloads, managing inventory and safety programs, serving as Manager on Duty, and representing the brand with a positive, service-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers focused on building customer relationships while creating framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in selecting framing solutions.
• Assist Store Manager in ensuring SOPs and company programs are followed and compliant with laws and requirements.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead on-time delivery of high-quality framing solutions by planning workload with the Store Manager.
• Achieve KPIs and guide the framing team to meet their KPIs.
• Review workload and build plans for networking and sales floor scheduling.
• Manage inventory, shrink and safety programs as assigned.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and support talent development and performance management.
• Partner with MODs daily on framing expectations and standards.
• Interact with staff respectfully and promote the company vision and values.
• Participate in truck unloading and stocking to meet standards and budget.
• Follow SOPs and company programs to maintain a safe environment.
• Acknowledge customers, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
