Job summary

Michaels Stores in Pinole, CA is seeking a Store Lead for our framing team. You will lead and coach framers, focus on building strong customer relationships, and deliver framing solutions that meet artwork needs.

You will plan workloads with the Store Manager, drive custom framing sales, manage inventory and safety programs, and participate in interviews and onboarding of new team members. Nights, weekends and early mornings are part of the schedule in this retail environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience helps.
• Experience leading a sales team is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers to build customer relationships and create framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and plan workload with the Store Manager.
• Manage inventory, shrink and safety programs and ensure SOP compliance.
• Serve as Manager on Duty and assist with interviewing, onboarding and coaching new team members.
• Support Omni channel processes and provide excellent customer service.
