Job summary

Osmo, a digital olfaction company headquartered in Elizabeth, NJ, seeks to build and lead a Quality Control function. You will own raw material quality, apply olfactive judgment, and ensure finished goods meet prior batch standards.

You will design the QC program, make real-time calls, and drive corrective actions while partnering with cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership to establish processes, documentation, and lab practices, with a path to grow into broader quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years in fragrance QC experience required.
• Experience building or fixing a QC process.
• Strong organoleptic/sensory evaluation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own raw material quality and decide accept/reject in real time.
• Evaluate materials and finished goods using olfactive judgment.
• Lead root cause investigations for non-conforming materials and customer quality concerns.
• Design and implement the QC program, from process to documentation.
• Maintain lab documentation, SOPs, and calibration records.
• Track QC KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Grow and lead a QC team as headcount increases.
