Versique Executive, Professional, & Interim Recruiting is seeking a Fractional HR Consultant to formalize and strengthen people practices in a growing organization. You will assess current processes, partner with leadership, and implement scalable HR infrastructure, policies, and programs in a small business environment.

The role involves wearing multiple hats, delivering strategic guidance, and executing hands-on HR initiatives in a hybrid Twin Cities metro setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HR Consultant, HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or HR Leader.
• Experience building HR programs and infrastructure within small or growing organizations.
• Strong knowledge of HR operations, compliance, policies, and employee lifecycle management.
• Ability to assess business needs and recommend practical HR solutions.
• Experience working directly with business owners, founders, or executive leaders.
• Comfortable operating independently in a highly autonomous environment.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and consulting skills.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort navigating ambiguity.

• Recommend scalable solutions to support organizational growth.
• Assist with employee relations, talent management, and people operations needs as they arise.
• Build practical processes and frameworks that support a growing workforce.

The Fractional HR Consultant will serve as the primary HR resource for a growing organization that is ready to formalize and strengthen its people practices. This role will assess current HR processes, identify priorities, and partner closely with leadership to develop scalable HR infrastructure, policies, and programs. The ideal consultant is comfortable wearing multiple hats, providing strategic guidance, and executing hands‑on HR initiatives in a small business environment.

Worksite Location: Hybrid - Twin Cities metro

Salary Range: Hourly rate between $65-90, DOE
