Job summary

Versique Consulting & Search is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) based in West Bend, WI. This in-office role offers a pathway to coach leaders, manage employee relations, and align people strategies with business goals in a hands-on capacity.

The HRBP will collaborate with the People team, support growth and change, and ensure compliant HR practices while leveraging data-driven insights. Competitive benefits and bonus eligibility are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3–5 years in HR Generalist or HRBP role with employee relations focus.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and risk management.
• Ability to influence leaders across multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for leaders and employees in supported functions.
• Coach leaders on employee relations, performance, and development.
• Support organizational design, workforce planning, and succession planning.
• Assist with role definitions, compensation analysis, and competency
• development; drive practical solutions.
• Partner on recruiting, onboarding, and internal mobility initiatives.
• Lead and support HR projects and people initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS systems.

Job description

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders and employees across the organization. This role partners closely with assigned business functions to align people strategies with business objectives, support leaders through growth and change, and manage employee relations with sound judgment and care. Reporting to the HR Manager, the HRBP will collaborate with the broader People team in a hands-on, highly visible role.

Worksite Location

This in-office position is based in West Bend, WI, with flexibility to occasionally work from home. NOT open to relocation - must be localor nearby to be considered.

Salary

Target salary range of $80,000–$100,000 per year, based on experience, plus bonus eligibility.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3-5years of progressive experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner
• Strong employee relations and employment law knowledge
• Proven ability to navigate sensitive situations with sound judgment
• Experience influencing leaders at multiple levels
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• AI first and data driven mindset
• Ability to be a strategic thought partner and work with confidence and speed in a safe environment that enables taking risks and making mistakes
