Job summary

BILL is hiring a Finance Manager on the FP&A team to partner with business leaders and manage the financial plan—from forecasting and planning to accruals and month-end close. You will help optimize resourcing and ensure numbers are right, using AI tools to streamline processes.

You will collaborate with Accounting, Procurement, and department heads, leveraging AI to remove manual work and focusing on analysis and strategic advice. Remote-first with offices in San Jose and Draper.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting; month-end close experience a must.
• High growth SaaS or fintech experience preferred.
• Strong accounting fundamentals: accruals, prepaids, exp recognition.
• Ability to partner with and influence senior leaders.
• Experience using AI tools to automate analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency with ERP and planning systems (NetSuite/Adaptive Planning) and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Partner with department leaders to manage financial planning and resourcing.
• Prepare executive expense reporting and concise talking points for leadership.
• Lead annual budgets and quarterly forecasts; ensure current forecasts reflect conditions.
• Own operating expense planning, forecasting, and variance analysis across organizations.
• Lead FP&A close processes: accruals, prepaids, reclasses; explain variances clearly.
• Identify AI-driven process improvements in finance workflows.
• Analyze vendor and spend insights to support savings initiatives.
