Job summary

WP Engine, a leading WordPress technology company, is seeking a detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to support financial planning and decision-making as we scale. You will administer Workday Adaptive Insights and partner with G&A functions to drive transparency in forecasting.

In a remote-first environment, you’ll apply advanced Excel skills and SaaS metrics understanding to deliver actionable insights and board-ready analyses that guide strategic decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related experience.
• Strong Workday Adaptive Insights experience (power user preferred).
• Solid understanding of GAAP financial statements and FP&A processes.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets for modeling and reporting.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Remote-first work capability and SaaS metrics understanding.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly and quarterly close reporting with P&L commentary.
• Own and improve recurring reporting packages and templates.
• Assist with board deliverables and annual budgeting and long-range planning.
• Support ad hoc analyses and scenario modeling for growth initiatives.
• Partner with G&A leaders on budget vs. actuals and forecasting.
